If they feel it is becoming a health and safety hazard with them on the buses then this will not be allowed. All children need a helmet, no helmet no ride.
There will be storage available for scooters or skateboards in the gym if they want to leave them at school. This will be locked at the end of the day.

Families are asked to supply one raffle item per school child and these can be dropped off at the Tavern before 7.30pm Wednesday or into the School Office before 2.00pm Wednesday. Thu Apr 28 12:43pmOrange setting and what it means for Tokanui School
Thu Apr 14 02:40pmKia ora Whanau,
Yesterday the Government announced the move to Orange and it is important we give you an update on what this means for our school.
At Orange, face masks are no longer required at school. However public health advice is that masks continue to be strongly encouraged when indoors. Wearing a mask is a key health measure that slows the spread of COVID-19.
At Orange, students aged 12 and above are still required to wear a face mask on school or public transport.
We will continue to keep all the other health measures in place at school that we know slow the spread of COVID-19. These include ensuring our indoor spaces are well-ventilated, maintaining good hand hygiene and cough and sneeze etiquette, appropriate physical distancing whenever we can and, most importantly, staying home if we are sick.
We are looking forward to a few less restrictions and returning to school life that is a bit closer to normal.
Nga mihi
Tina McMullen Principal

Fri Apr 08 09:54amWe were to hold our school athletics next Tuesday but we’ve looked at the weather forecast which is not favourable and also because Covid is still prevalent at this time, we have made the decision to postpone the school Athletics until Week 2 of Term 2. This will also mean that we can have parents/caregivers onsite to support their child/ren. Look out for more details at the start of next term.
